Schools, PTAs and groups

Group Programs

Flexible bike-learning and safety programs for schools, PTAs, Girl Scout troops, community groups and other organizations.

Group Programs

Flexible by design

Choose the program model that fits your community.

Ready to Pedal does not force every organization into one fixed format.

PTA fundraiser

Bring individual lessons to your school.

The PTA helps secure a suitable paved space and shares the opportunity. Families register and pay Ready to Pedal directly, and the PTA typically receives 10% of generated lesson revenue.

Learn-to-ride group

A structured program for similar riders.

Groups can serve up to approximately 10 children with two instructors when ages are close and skill levels are reasonably similar. Younger riders may require additional staffing.

Bike-safety program

Build control and safer habits together.

For independent riders, a controlled-area skills course can be paired with an optional supervised neighborhood component.

Ilana and the team are miracle workers. The lessons made my child feel at ease and gave her the confidence and skill she needed to take off. As my daughter said, “Why didn’t you just tell me it was so simple?”

How planning works

We build the program after we understand the riders and the space.

  1. 1
    Tell us the goal

Learn-to-ride, safety, PTA event or another community need.

  2. 2
    Share the group details

Ages, number of riders, current skills, equipment and support needs.

  3. 3
    Confirm the location

A safe, approved paved area with enough room for the planned course.

  4. 4
    Receive a tailored plan

Recommended format, staffing, schedule and pricing.

Group size and staffing

Staffing depends on rider count, age, skill similarity and how much individual support is likely to be needed.

Equipment

Families generally provide safe bikes and fitted helmets. Ready to Pedal supplies cones, markers, signs and course materials for safety programs.

Schedule

Programs may use one or two sessions, an event-day schedule or a series designed around the group’s goals.

Pricing

Pricing is customized according to the format, location, travel, ages, number of riders and instructors required.

Start the conversation

Tell us about your school, troop or group.

Include approximate ages, rider count, current skill level, city, available paved space and preferred timing. Ready to Pedal will recommend a workable format.

Please avoid including detailed medical information. We only need enough context to recommend an appropriate next step.
